A Wii bit fit… asked:

I keep hearing about more and more of my friends who use drugs “recreationally” and casually. We are in our mid-late twenties and thirties, and most of us are professionals with high-stake jobs.

Why are yuppies finding drugs as an outlet for fun and relief?

My career is at stake and I can’t be around this dirty habit.

*SP* asked:

I know that it’s too late right now because the show has already started but I don’t want to miss it when it comes next year so can some1 give me the exact link to audition for AGT (america’s got talent) because I couldn’t find any link that says “audition” or “how to be on Americas Got Talent” on their website. Just in case you’re wondering I’m going to be singing. I actually don’t care if I lose because I’m doing singing just to have fun and I’m hoping a door will open for my career, but if it doesn’t its okay because just being on that stage singing would mean alot. It would be REALLY cool to go to the next round because then I could sing on stage again and that would be really fun!

Colbertican asked:

I know we’re a Republic, but throughout our existance, based on the princples of the founders, we’ve been moving towards an increasingly democratic system of Government, which may have been what the founders intended. I say we need to continue progressing. It could save us from these dark times of Career polititians and Corporate Presidents. Your thoughts?

Fly girl asked:

I’m possibly thinking about taking this route in the near future. What is the best way to find a new career? This summer I really plan to sit down and strategize my next career move. I’ve been a public school teacher for several years and I’ve kind of had my head in the clouds for a good amount of time.

I love working with the kids but all the issues that come along with this job is getting to be so not worth it.

America do we really understand and value our PRIVANCY?

taochiespirt asked:

This subject really bothers me, because I have study sociology for several years and my dream of all dream careers, would have been that of a Constitutional Lawyer for an agency like A.C.L.U. Well as a free-lance writer, being able to support the beliefs and values that make us American, is close enough for now. And NOW is a very very important time, for WE the people to stand up and realize that little by little our Privancy is vanishing. First how can any one justly say that phone invansion is acceptable? What about the 4th amendment, isn’t that enough to make all realize that to search or invade a persons private data, calls, etc is wrong, the reason it’s wrong is because it makes us more of a CONTROL NATION, which 1776 was not about. Freedom to have control over your own existence, verse that of a Nation seems only natural. If we let our PRIVANCY be taken away, then the next thing to go, will be our FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION. At that point America, we truely won’t be as American?

How can we motivate high school students to become more interested in science and pursue careers in science?

dn asked:

There isn’t a doubt that science is the future. There is nothing else more essential for the advancement of society in the long run. The only way America can remain at the top is if it’s science and technology is the most advanced. The problem is, from my experiences in high school, it seems as if many students just don’t seem to be interested or motivated to pursue careers in science. This problem is becoming ever more pressing, with other countries catching up to us economically, and now with grant cuts and research restrictions imposed by the US government. How can we motivate these students to pursue careers in science?
