Tired of corporate america - Need career change?
Thursday, December 18th, 2008Hello,
I have been in corporate america for the past 8 years and I am really tired of it. I am thinking of making a career change in the medical field (occupational therapy or physical therapy). My educational background is a bachelor’s degree in business. Can I just get a master’s degree in occupational therapy or physical therapy? Or do I have to get a bachelor’s degree first?

Saturday, December 13th, 2008What would be a Good Career Path for someone who wanted to Wear their Kilts full time in America?
Saturday, December 13th, 2008And not as a Bagpiper… I know a walking letter carrier in Washington had a gray kilt made to match his postal shirt, and not until it got to the Federal level, did he have to stop wearing it, which will be a discrimination suit one day.
What’s a good career path? My mother-in-law’s friend’s older son started his own business, and wears his Kilt most of the time, and that’s in a rural town in Texas.

How can we motivate high school students to become more interested in science and pursue careers in science?
Saturday, December 13th, 2008There isn’t a doubt that science is the future. There is nothing else more essential for the advancement of society in the long run. The only way America can remain at the top is if it’s science and technology is the most advanced. The problem is, from my experiences in high school, it seems as if many students just don’t seem to be interested or motivated to pursue careers in science. This problems is becoming ever more pressing, with other countries catching up to us economically, and now with grant cuts and research restrictions imposed by the US government. How can we motivate these students to pursue careers in science?
