Can you recommend some careers that involve rigorous analysis work and strategic thinking?

The Irreverant Chameleon asked:

Hi, I enjoy analysing and investigating things, and taking many things into consideration and making accurate decisions and exact observations…can you recommend some suitable careers.

i am also a bit of an introvert, so please take that into consideration as well. I endure long periods of time by myself, but sometimes i feel the need to be around people.

i also have a very good memory and am capable of remembering minute details.

I think the best description of myself is:
I am a person that sees things as they are and i see what it could be.

Careers in the medical field specifically involving bloodwork?

Kate_ asked:

I’ve been searching and wondering, what type of careers in the medical field besides phlebotomy can you go to school for to work specifically with the blood, such as evaluation, identifying, specific diseases which involve the blod, etc etc??

I live in arizona and to become a phlebotomist (minus the prerequisites) the actual course is only 9 months. I would like to work in this field but would not like to spend more then 2-3 years in college to advance into this type of medical field. Any information is helpful!!!

What careers do I qualify for besides my current one?

Mark M asked:

34 years old, almost 8 years of medical sales exp as a rep and specialist with awards. I am tired of the travel and hospital politics and bull. Have a 4 year degree and I am looking for something competitive in pay and will allow me to go home every night. I understand that I possibly will make less. What other careers are out there that can use my management, selling and marketing skills?

What are some different careers in the fashion industry?

RetroBunny asked:

While I have many other interests in life (particularly literature, social sciences, and astrophysics), I live, breath and eat fashion.
Fashion is something I would consider being involved with for my whole life, but I don’t know where I should start.
In fashion, other than being a model or designer (adore that idea, but must learn to sew first), what are the different careers?

What are some careers for a geology major?

Monday, June 16th, 2008
Sherry asked:

I’ve loved earth science for the longest time, and am currently working on getting my BS in geology. However, I’ve been told that most geologists end up getting a career with oil industries. While this normally wouldn’t be a problem, I just wanted to make sure that I have other job opportunities I could check out. I want to go on and get my Masters to keep my options open, but could someone please tell me what other careers there are out there?

Thank you!

What careers allow a person diversity as opposed to specialization?

It seems that while jobs are plentiful, careers are harder to find. How do you find a career where you can do a variety of things instead of being specialized - doing the same thing day after day after day?
